Thought I would mix it up a bit today and have put in my 5 latest makes, dare I mention the
C word?
As we are still only in October, I will not share with you what I have been making fully but instead give you a glimpse of some of my makes for December blog posts. Can you guess what any of them are, some easier than others. I would love to know what you come up with. Have you any suggestions about good Christmas makes? I am a girl who prefers quick makes but not adverse to something more substantial either... so without further ado, join in on Guess the Make Quiz:
This one has prompted a few ideas on IG, what do you think it is? |
Photographed whilst incomplete, but can you hazard a guess as to what it ended up as? |

This one is too easy surely, but what is the design? |
Mostly in shadow here, what is it? |

♥ Have you begun with any Christmas preparations yet? ♥
I don't dare to guess but you have clearly Christmas on your mind! For me it is too soon. But do enjoy your crafting!
ReplyDeleteFor me it's too early for shopping for Christnas but if I don't start with the crafting now it won't get done in time Riitta x
DeleteYou have been busy! I look forward to seeing you wearing it at Christmas!! x
ReplyDeleteThanks Karen
DeleteI love the red and white with the trees on. I'm not going to guess what anything is. I've been busy ink stamping designs on to tissue paper to use as wrapping, and making gift tags.
ReplyDeleteOoh I love the idea of stamping into tissue. Great idea x
DeleteLots of tantalising glimpses Selma and I am looking forward to seeing the completed creations. I am always reluctant to start making Christmas too early and consequently always run out of time! There are plenty of WIP gifts around the place though.
ReplyDeleteWhilst I don't like Christmas encroaching into the shops and décor been put up too soon I do make a start with gifts and makes really early. I don't like the stress when I leave things to the last minute . You seem to have made a great start.
ReplyDeleteThis was a fun post! I love to crochet so it was really interesting to try to figure out what you are making. I had no luck, though :) I hope you can stop by:

I haven't had any time for crafting lately...I must get back on it. Can't bear to think about xmas! You look like you've made a great start.
ReplyDeleteLike your knitting. xmas it just around the corner.... can't start early enough. Maybe you make Santa :)
ReplyDeletehave a nice weekend
Love your crafting and the red snippets ♥
ReplyDeleteit looks like a creepy mask but i'm going to say its a sideways shot of a xmas cardy?
ReplyDeleteNo idea at all, but they all look good, especially the third one, so pretty. You're doing well getting on with your Christmas makes, much better than being at the last minute with everything.
ReplyDeleteI'm not going to hazards any guesses as to your makes, but I'll admire your productivity and foresight. I'm thinking about Christmas makes, but haven't begun yet.
ReplyDeleteYou are so clever, and have me mostly stumped, but I wonder if you are making a strawberry scissor keep, a reindeer Christmas themed card, and a Santa's elf hat. Thanks for the fun...now please visit my blog and tell me what you are making :) xx
ReplyDeleteI always wish I had started Christmas crafting earlier when December rolls around but I'm such a procrastinator !
ReplyDeleteSo I very much admire your creativity & prepping! So kind of a Christmas cardy is my best guess! Enjoy!
You are busy with Christmas ? I don't even think about it yet !
ReplyDeleteYou are busy with all sorts of Christmas goodies! I finally found a shawl pattern I like. I figure I won't have enough of them don by Christmas, but they'll be good for Christmas 2017! Ha! I usually make most of my Christmas gifts. Not so this year. Have a lovely weekend.
ReplyDeleteYou tease! I've been thinking about Christmas makes this week but as usual have probably left it all too late!
ReplyDeleteI'm stumped but I'll take a guess! I think the first one is part of a Santa. Can't wait to see what they are.
ReplyDeleteI make a lot of balsam wreaths for Christmas and am just itching to get going, but it's too soon. I'll make them the week of Thanksgiving and hang them the day after.
Selma, you are a tease! I don't dare guess what the top one is but I can guarantee it will be fabulous. I'm trying to hold back on too much Christmas excitement at the moment. I'm pacing myself. X
